Four months ago, Mette Bock was appointed as the new Minister for Culture, thereby becoming the head of the ministry that has the overall responsibility for the castle project in Nyborg. In that capacity, she paid an informal visit to Nyborg Castle on January 23, where project leader Annette Straagaard from the Agency for Culture and Palaces presented the minister with the latest blueprints for the project.

The minister said she would eagerly follow the progress of the project and especially looked forward to seeing it completed in 2020. At Nyborg Castle, the minister was received by Nyborg mayor Kenneth Muhs, museum director Erland Porsmose and department head for Nyborg Castle, Janus Møller Jensen, who showed the minister around the castle.
