“Broen” before the bridge
Wednesday, Wednesday, May 20, 2015
The ferry M/F Broen (which means “the bridge”), once sailed across the Great Belt between Nyborg and Korsør. It will be docked in Nyborg for the next two years, while the Museums of Eastern Funen explore the possibilities for allowing the ferry to be permanently placed in Nyborg harbour. It can be part of the story of “Nyborg - in the heart of the kingdom”. In addition to Nyborg Castle and the many other heritage sites in Nyborg, the M/F Broen can become an important piece of the puzzle to demonstrate Nyborg’s importance as a crossroads.
